Interactive Course on Practical Implementation of Clinical Dosimetry in Nuclear Medicine Therapy
This course will cover the essentials for the practical implementation of dosimetry in nuclear medicine therapy. Attendees will have the opportunity to work with raw scintigraphy data and will gain hands on experience in processing that data to calculate an absorbed dose. Practical examples will mainly follow PRRT therapy however the techniques and methodologies covered can be applied to a range of therapeutic applications. Topics include quantitative imaging and corrections for therapy imaging. TAC fitting and radiation transport for S value calculations. Methodologies for absorbed dose and radiobiology computation are also covered.
