Handbook in Radiation Oncology

The IAEA has published a handbook on radiation oncology physics, which is aimed at students and teachers involved in professional training programmes, providing a broad overview of the knowledge required.

As a complement to this publication, a set of slides following closely the material in the book has been developed as well. The slides (in .pdf or Powerpoint) can be freely downloaded clicking on the relevant links provided on this page.

Because of the success of this book, the IAEA has initiated projects to publish similar handbooks for diagnostic radiology physics, and nuclear medicine physics. Both of which are now available for free download.
