Dr. Guillaume Nicolas is a Consultant in Nuclear Medicine and Deputy Division Head, Division of Nuclear Medicine, Member of the neuroendocrine and endocrine tumour centre at the University Hospital Basel, Switzerland. He is an executive committee member of SwissNET.
He completed his medical studies at J. Fourier University in Grenoble, France, before receiving his MD Degree from the University of Basel. Dr. Nicolas completed a Clinical Research Fellowship at the Neuroendocrine Tumour Unit of Prof. Martyn Caplin, Royal Free Hospital, and at the Institute of Nuclear Medicine, chaired by Prof. Jamshed Bomanji, University College London Hospital, London, UK.
Dr. Nicolas has authored numerous publications and is quickly building a reputation in the field of molecular imaging and targeted radionuclide therapy of NETs. His research on radiolabelled somatostatin receptor antagonist has been recognised with a number of Awards, including the Best Oral Presentation at the 2016 ENETS Meeting.
