Tenth Newsletter of Nutritional & Health-Related Environmental Studies Section

Welcome to the tenth Newsletter of the Nutritional & Health-Related Environmental Studies Section, where you can read about our activities in the first half of 2019. A great achievement during the last months was the completion of the DBM symposium report, where we highlight the key messages from each session. It is now available for download – you can find the link to it on page 4. Also, get inspired by some success stories from our partners on pages 7 and 8, and read about meetings we organized in the last months, including two final project meetings assessing vitamin A body pools. The first results from these projects are already published! ! Check out page 2. Moreover, don’t miss our news section, where you will find information about a new exciting research project on biomarkers of added sugar intake, the launch of an e-taster course on stable isotope techniques in nutrition assessments, and our new animated video on how the use of stable isotopes can help governments improve the nutrition and health of their people. Finally, check out the new issue of UNSCN Nutrition on food environments on page 9. We hope that you will enjoy this new edition of the NAHRES newsletter.
