Measuring the Eluate Activity

After eluting the generator, the radioactivity concentration of the eluate should be measured using an isotope calibrator and recorded.

At this point it is also necessary to ensure that the radionuclide is of acceptable purity, again using the isotope calibrator. For more information on radionuclidic purity, please see the Quality Control Module.
