Quality Control Procedures
After the doses have been dispensed it is necessary to check that the radiopharmaceutical is of acceptable quality by testing its radiochemical purity. This usually occurs before the first patient has been injected with the product, but the actual technique may take some time to undertake and thus the result may be retrospective.
